I am a child psychologist registered with the Ordre des Psychologues du Québec (OPQ). I am also a mom to 2 wonderful toddlers.
My goal is to help parents navigate the difficulties associated with raising little humans. I also specialize in helping parents adjust to the postpartum period.
I provide psychotherapy using a goal-directed, collaborative, approach using Cognitive Behavioural therapy (CBT) to help clients identify, understand, and challenge negative feelings, thoughts, and behaviour. I also integrate principles from other approaches, such as Dialectical-Behavioural Therapy (DBT), client-centered, as well as 3rd wave therapies including acceptance commitment therapy (ACT), and mindfulness. My parenting work is based in the principles of attachment and gentle parenting.
I have experience working in various settings including hospitals and schools. In addition to my practice, I teach psychology at the college level.
